Fr. Nguyen
was born in Vietnam and came to the United States in 1980
as one of
the "boat people." He became a member of the Redemptorists in 1986
and was
ordained to the priesthood in 1992. During the fifteen years of his
priestly ministry, with specialties in literature, music and liturgy, he
gave many retreats,
served as
parish priest, was a music director for a multicultural parish, led many
liturgical
workshops, and was a formation director for the philosophy students of
the Denver Province. He has joined the mission team this year and is
very enthusiastic to begin his mission preaching.
