Upon ordination Fr. Bob
spent the first years of his Redemptorist
priesthood as the Assistant Director
of Students and Guidance Counselor
at the Redemptorist high school seminary.
Those years were followed by
three years of preaching retreats at the
Redemptorist retreat centers in
Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and Glenview, Illinois. The
next fifteen years
Fr. Bob served as Pastor of St. Joseph's Parish in Denver,
Colorado and
Holy Redeemer Parish in Detroit, Michigan where
he honed his Spanish skills.
After a year sabbatical living and ministering with the
Redemptorist
of the Mexican Province,
Fr. Bob joined the Redemptorist Parish Mission
Preaching Team in
Chicago, Illinois to offer missions in Spanish and
English.
