Tony was
born and raised in St. Louis, MO. He was professed as a Redemptorist in
1973 and ordained a priest in 1979. In September of 1980 Tony arrived
in Amazonas, Brazil, where he lived and worked as a missionary for
almost ten years. When he returned from the missions Tony spent the next
ten years in Colorado, as an associate pastor and then pastor of an
inner-city, largely Hispanic parish in Denver. He then spent two
years preaching parish missions, mostly in the western United States,
with an emphasis on both Multicultural and bilingual (English and
Spanish) parishes. From 2001 until 2008 Tony was a member of the
Redemptorist Hispanic Missionary Project in the Diocese of Dodge City,
K.S., which included parish mission preaching, lay leadership formation
and parochial ministry. Since September 1, 2008 Tony has been a member
of the Redemptorist Parish Mission Team.
